Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten Curriculum
The Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs intergrate emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development. These programs provide a setting that nurtures creative expression and encourages positive self-esteem and social interactions. Social values of cooperation, courtesy, mutual respect, and empathy are supported. Children are encourged to reflect these ideals in their actions toward self and others.
The curriculum reflects consideration of children in knowledge, skills, dispositions, and feelings. Teachers observe and document children's growth and learning in the areas of personal/social, language/literacy, mathematical thinking, scientific thinking, the arts, physical development, social environments, and activities that support and facilitate each child's growth and development within a context that is meaningful and purposeful for young children.
Our curriculum is based on the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) philosophy.
